At the Country Pride restaurant, experiences vary widely among patrons. While some diners praise the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and highlight delicious offerings like Chicken Fried Chicken, others criticize the slow service and overcooked food. Many report long waits for their meals, even when the restaurant isn't busy, leading to frustration over the perceived value. Despite the mixed reviews and some issues with the restaurant's atmosphere and furnishings, visitors appreciate the spacious parking available for trucks and RVs. Overall, it appears that while the food and service quality isn't consistent, many hope for better experiences in future visits.

Was Cooki Lumsden at Country Pride a mag?
I had the Smothered chopped steak. The patty was done as asked, and the grilled onions and mushrooms were perfect. The ladies had smash burgers which they said were very good. View all feedback.
What Raven Wood (StoneWater13) dislikes about Country Pride:
The patty melt lacked flavor and most of the dishes were served lukewarm. However, the soup was surprisingly good. The service was decent, rated at a 4, and the atmosphere was average, rated at a 3. Overall, the meal was priced between $20-30 per person. View all feedback.
The waitress was exceptional, providing fast and respectful service. The food was decent, although it may not have suited my tastes that day. The atmosphere of the restaurant gave off a sophisticated vibe, making for an enjoyable dining experience.
Great breakfast options all day, very friendly staff and a quiet and clean dining space. Prices are higher than most mom&pop places, but they're reasonable for the times we live in. Definitely a good place for a break from the road.
The last TA I stopped at in Las Cruces, their restaurant was shutdown permanently, so I'm glad this one was fully operational. It wasn't busy which was nice (about 7pm on a Friday). The food was excellent, tho the fries could have been a bit less crispy. The sweet tea was deliciously perfect. And best of all, Lisa -my waitress- was patient as I struggled to make choices, and laughed appropriately with me later on when I was making a mess in my beard from the condiments on my burger! She acted quickly to retrieve a fire and mayo for me when I asked. And also listened to me when I asked for a side of cottage cheese to start with before the meal was prepared... many times at other restaurants when I ask for that, the waitresses forget or don't listen and bring out the cottage cheese with the meal. Thanks for a clean restaurant, clean tables, and excellent customer service from Lisa!
If I could give it a zero I would. The way they treat their employees just disgusts me. Been their many times and the last couple of times I got the new woman cook who absolutely makes the best food I've ever had there. It was nice to have edible food. She takes her time to make sure you delicious food just how you want it. People that rush are the ones that mess everything up. Best cook they've ever had there and to treat her the way this company does is absolutely uncalled for and I will never go there again!!! I will also be spreading the word in all trucker groups and our local fb page.
DISAPPOINTING Lone server worker who was visually busier than a long tailed cat at a rocking chair convention provided outstanding service. We had intended to order decaf coffee but that proved problematic when we were oddly advised that they don 't have any???? Additionally ordering proved equally problematic since the wide selection of toast was either smashed or still frozen limiting it to only white bread. Food was simply unimpressive and diminished in any flavor, WOW clearly isn 't on the menu. Low quality ingredients with aggressive portion control. Additionally we found our food to be EXCESSIVELY oily greasy. Even the toast arrived wet, saturated in what I guess was with margarine. We asked for ketchup and the bottle arrived an absolute mess. I question if it 's ever been cleaned??? Serving at tableside qualified as a professional embarrassment to the wait staff. My water glass had dried onion skins attached to it. I just removed it and went on but it contributed to the low value review. I don 't know why a server would ever serve anything to the paying public that they themselves clearly wouldn 't want served to them. Not an establishment that I can highly recommend. I wasn 't expecting perfection, just their best effort and our experience fell noticably short. Response to business response: My review is rather straight forward and accurately to the point. Rather then direct me to your email for additional investigation why don 't you instead simply address the concerns noted in the review? Your response makes you appear deceptive and disingenuous.
