Description

Atherton has recently transformed its pub scene, blending modern decor with traditional charm. While some may miss the former character, the refreshed ambiance draws in a diverse crowd. Patrons relish a robust selection of cask ales, delicious food options—including well-executed roasts and daily specials—and a welcoming atmosphere for families and pets alike. With engaging quiz nights and smoked dishes served until midnight, it caters to all tastes. However, some visitors have noted inconsistencies in service, leaving room for improvement. Overall, Atherton remains a vibrant spot worth exploring.

Literally, the best pub in atherton, if not the northwest. Live activities on every day of the day. start-side cooked food, which is smoked in front of site and served daily until midnight. real ales. wide selection of ghosts in the city. dog-friendly. family friendly on day. cocktails. there is something for everyone

I've changed the hands since I was last here. the decoration is more to a wineable, but tasteful. the pool table and dartboard look top notch and there is now the supplement of a flipper machine. the animals are typical moorehouses, with the ipa being a welcome supplement. the most common addition to the drinker's epertoire was collider. a cedar/coal combo that my son tried. it tasted like koks with edgy when I'm honest. overall a great local. surprisingly empty on a Saturday afternoon.

Only had an amazing mother's day on Sunday lunch with my daughter and little dog, eating was fresh and tasty, she even gave my dog a bowling horn! friendly, efficient service, prices and good atmosphere, will be 100% soon back.

I visited this place with some friends during a pub crawl. It's been a while since I was last here and I remember it being a nice little place, but I was shocked by the new decor. The whole place looks like it's been painted with leftover battleship grey paint. It's not very inviting at all.

My partner and I visited Atherton on Friday evening, January 24, 2020 based on the great food reviews we had heard about. Despite usually dining elsewhere in the area, we decided to give this place a try. However, upon arriving, we were informed that they no longer serve food, despite still being advertised as a restaurant. We were in a rush and unfamiliar with the area, so we had to quickly find another place to eat.
