This restaurant is inside the Hotel Oranien, a nice, but sedate/hidden away hotel in Wiesbaden. Nevertheless, Michelin spotted it, and I followed suit as a plac... read more This restaurant is inside the Hotel Oranien, a nice, but sedate/hidden away hotel in Wiesbaden. Nevertheless, Michelin spotted it, and I followed suit as a place no one had told us about. It has a superb wine list--we had a wonderful Spatburgunder from Udo Ott--I had the lamb--deliciously cooked, and my wife the Forelle Muellerin. For vorspeise we had the white asparagus soup--divine! It was a bit cold and rainy, so we could not sit at the terrace, but if you can, do so...it is splendid, ample and an oasis in the middle of the city. If you're a veteran of Wiesbaden, or if you're not, this is not to be missed! And for those of you on a budget, it is medium priced...not cheap, but it won't break the bank, for sure!

We strongly recommend this restaurant
