The service is excellent, and the outdoor patio overlooks a spacious open field where children can play. There’s also a diverse selection of drinks available. Highly recommended!

I started to pic... read more The food did arrive quickly, but it was fairly standard. When I went to use the restroom, I found an overflowing trash can and no toilet paper. I started to pick up the trash but then noticed that six employees were gathered at the register and should have been taking care of this. I informed the staff at the register about the restroom's condition. At that point, a third table was seated, and they started to eat. While we were still dining, our bill was brought to us along with the payment machine. When I mentioned that we were still waiting for dessert, our waitress, Lexi, responded quite rudely, saying, "yes, you get one scoop of ice cream." She stood there, and I asked, "Oh, you want me to pay now before we finish?" As I was looking for my wallet, she walked away. She soon returned, rudely placed the dessert on the table, and then left again while I was still holding my card to pay. We were the last table remaining when a couple arrived and requested a window seat, only to be told it was a table for six. Given that we were the only customers left, that seemed odd, but she seated them in a dark corner with no view instead. When I approached the register to pay, Lexi remarked, "Oh, you're ready to pay now." My family has decided we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the fish was quite disappointing, and it didn’t even come with fresh-cut fries; instead, it was served with Cavendish fries from Costco, which weren’t even crispy. My husband said it was the worst burger he’s ever had, and he usually has low expectations for food. The only positive aspect of the restaurant was the beautiful views and our friendly server. It's a shame, as the location by the water has so much potential. However, the interior feels very outdated. Given the current state of the restaurant, I wouldn't recommend it.

My wife ordered the club sandwich and it was no better. After spending over 50.00 we left hungry. There is better places in Wiarton to eat.

The menu appearance made me think that it would reflect the food, boring, unattractive, cheap looking. I was happily surprised.Very simple and basic. Food was decent, portions were ok. Snack size poutine was great but was astonished the size of the regular poutine was so small in comparison to the snack size. Fish was good. Service was good. Food was good. I was looking forward to the veggie grilled cheese they use to have. I probably won 't frequent the spot, it 's got everything all the other places have and nothing extra , nice location too.
