The... read more The food and ambience of Diaz are spectacular, the quality of the chips and salsa as well as the entrees my wife and I enjoyed were really quite remarkable. The downside was that on both occasions the hostess/owner of the restaurant was incredibly upset both times we’ve eaten there, being at times rushed, impatient, and walking away in the middle of complimenting the food. She seemed to have personal matters in mind, which is excusable, but we observed her treating other customers much kinder. It left us with mixed feelings of enjoying food but hating the received service. We would eat there again if we had a different server.

The... read more We tried this restaurant twice. During our first visit, we wanted to give the server the benefit of the doubt; perhaps she was dealing with personal issues. The food was good enough for us to return. However, the woman who appears to be in charge and also serves has a terrible attitude. It seemed like everything annoyed and inconvenienced her; even a simple request for extra tortillas elicited a major sigh for no apparent reason. She was outright rude to my husband while he was expressing his gratitude for the meal, and by the time we left, we felt quite upset. The food was excellent, but I can get fajitas elsewhere. The service was disappointing, lacking any sense of hospitality.

I was extremely disappointed with my fajitas; they looked like they came straight out of a frozen bag and had zero flavor. We also ordered the queso with mushrooms, peppers, and onions, and it was basically just a bowl of half-melted shredded cheese that had to be scooped out with a fork. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
