I was seated promptly and all beverages are included with the breakfast tab, which is the end of my compliments for the operation of this dining room. Food quality for breakfast was atrocious, significantly worse than that of a hospital cafeteria, with inedible pancakes, dry and cold scrambled eggs, and undercooked floppy bacon. Wait staff was largely missing in actionwhen it came to serving beverages or bringing a check, which took more than 15 minutes of waiting. The waitress serving mysection also spent more time coughing and wiping her nose while obviously very sick than providing service while never oncehaving been seen washing her hands or choosing to wear a mask during the midst of the pandemic. Great views ruined byincompetent operation all around.
We just had the seafood buffet. The dinner was delicious. The service was over the top. Very professional wait staff. Wheeling doesn 't realize what a gem we have in this resort.
We were staying at the resort and decided to have lunch there this last weekend with extended family. Food is mediocre. Prices are way too high. Servers weren't that great. We waited a long time for our meal and there was hardly anyone there. Withouttip, for 3 people, our bill was $170. Yes, we knew what we were paying, but it was definitely not worth it. Food was wayoverpriced. Lave cake...that was a joke. They were out of cheesecake, so that's what my daughter settled on. The lava cakewas a white and chocolate cake with chocolate drizzled on the plate below the cake. If we ever go back to Oblebay, we will notbe eating there.
Food was better than expected! Prices were on the higher side but worth it. Limited selection menu but everything was well cooked/prepared. I would recommend
We stayed for the weekend. The resort itself is beautiful. We made reservations for the seafood buffet and I would never recommend it to anyone. The food was below par. Out of 4 in the group 3 had food poisoning (1 person only ate salad and dessert,no seafood). I was so disappointed as the menu looked amazing for it and for $45 a person it should?ve been a lot better thanwhat it was. The next day we tried the breakfast buffet. It was much better but 2/4 people couldn?t eat still as they were stillseverely ill from the food the night before. The breakfast buffet was nice as food was way more fresh. Overall breakfast is a4/5 and seafood buffet a 0/5
