We celebrated our 30-year anniversary at the terminal (4 June 2022) and could no longer be delighted with the layout, food and service. It was so easy because they did practically everything: covered tables and chairs, buffet foods, non-alcoholic drinks, bartender service both in the room and in the restaurant, even a standing place to guide the guest to the entrance of the party. The food was incredible, the room wa... View all feedback.
Randomly, this place found on Google while I went through the city, and I'm so glad we stopped. It is this sweet little tavern with retro almost Art Deco decorations. Your menu was typical for your American standard restaurant apps, sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. Our server was very friendly and our food came out so quickly. The BLT was massive! I couldn't even finish it. They had very limited beer choices like 4 designs, and only 1 was a craft. Anyway, I'd still get in if I were in the area.
So we were looking for a place to eat near Capitol Theater so we got on Google Maps and Found this Diamond in the Rough . So we walked in and seen many tables filled and tables with Reserved ,but they still found us a nice little table. Menu 's in hand immediately and drinks and Appetizers right away. My wife ordered the Shrimp Basket(Outstanding)and I Ordered The Reuben (One of the Best I ever had especially with Mustard) we sat next to two regular customers who said make sure you save room for the Pie. Next time, Definitely!! And Another thing all the Staff were some of the Nicest People and the Service was Excellent despite being Jam Packed!! Can 't wait to go back!!
We stopped by on a rainy Tuesday evening for dinner while passing through Wheeling. The Reuben sandwich I had was the best I've had in years, and they also had a great selection of beer on tap. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly, funny, and nice. The restaurant has fantastic decor, a long history, and excellent music. Additionally, the location is great with big windows perfect for people watching or enjoying the atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Love, love, love Bridge Tavern!!! I can't say enough about how much I love this place! The people are amazing! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is amazing! The drinks are amazing! Family and kid friendly. My 10 year old grandson loved it! Prices are very reasonable for food and drinks. Easy access into the tavern from the sidewalk with on street parking. Very clean! Masks are required to enter. Employees wear masks. Right across from the historic suspension bridge in Wheeling's historic downtown district. I wholeheartedly recommend you try Bridge Tavern Grill!!
On a Friday afternoon, while heading home from Kentucky to Philadelphia for an overnight stay at McClure Hotel in downtown, I stumbled upon a hidden gem in downtown Wheeling. The bartender, Joey, and owner, Mike, warmly welcomed me and introduced me to the regulars at the bar restaurant. Even though I didn't dine there that day, it was clear that the other patrons were thoroughly enjoying their meals. I am looking forward to returning soon to enjoy a drink and dinner with Joey and Mike!
