We both ordered the loaded nachos, and they were just as tasty as they were visually appealing. The drink selection is impressive too, with a wide variety of beers on tap and in bottles, particularly Mexican options, which fits perfectly with the theme. The ambiance of the restaurant is enjoyable, featuring some creative decor, such as sideways doors that serve as an entryway wall. One point to note is that open-concept spaces can create noise issues, and this venue is no different. However, we were still able to hear each other during our visit, though I can’t guarantee that would be the case when the restaurant is busier. Parking can be tricky due to the ongoing construction in the area, but there are parking spots on both sides of the street that typically suffice throughout the day. Overall, Taqueria 304 is a fantastic addition to the area, and I hope they thrive for years to come! On our usual driving-through meal break in Wheeling, we found the spot and it did not disappoint in any shape or form. The special bahn-mi tacos with pork belly were so spot on and the loaded nachos appeased the pickiest eater in the bunch. The pollos tacos and the expertly suggested remainders were exactly what was needed. Fantastic service, very cold beer and we are back on the road with a happy crew. Thank you Taqueria 304, we will see you on the way back!
