Wonderful food, great portions, decent prices. If I ever go back to Wheeling I will definitely go again! Just a hole in the wall place but it is amazing the quesadilla was enormous and tasty. The fajitas and chimichunga were also delicious! View all feedback.
What Courtney doesn't like about El Zocalo Mexican:
i honestly love the food here and have been ordering from here for almost two years since i moved into the area, but recently i think the recipe for their rice changed and it?s entirely too oniony, every bite i get in biting into an onion, the entire dish smells of onions, even when i specifically order things with no onions, the rice contains so much onion now that it just reeks. i love mexican food and i loved this... Beautifully decorated. Note 8/1/23, they are in the process of renewing their liquor license so no alcohol. Chips were fresh, Quesadilla was good. Quick service.
Food was great with good service! For the first time we ordered desserts and they were delicious! Will go again!
Delicious and authentic tasting food. Prices have recently increased substantially while portions decreased. Overall bill surprised us last time.Parking: Parking to the right of the building, extending behind it. Overflow parking in a gravel lot across the road.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, ground level entrance with seating options close to the door.
My two enchiladas, rice, and beans were delicious. My friend was happy with her lunch fajita.Great, friendly service and reasonable prices.Parking: Sufficient number of spaces in the parking lot. The only issue is exiting due to the odd setup of the traffic light and pattern at the intersection
I waited 40 minutes for this and paid 40$ not happy 15.99 like they charged me for all the sides sauces that's supposed to come with it. Plus a tip on a take out.
