Admittedly, I've only tried around 12 to 20 BBQ spots in my lifetime, but this place makes all the others seem mediocre at best. They have an amazing sweet BBQ sauce that I can't remember the name of, but it's truly fantastic. When I go back, I'm definitely going to ask if I can purchase some to take home because it’s that delicious! It's been a while since my last visit, but I remember ordering a combo platter and absolutely loving it. I'm planning to return within the next week!

The baby back ribs were absolutely delicious, the brisket was tender, and the burnt ends were perfectly smoky. And I can't forget the mac and cheese bites! The apple bourbon sauce is the best I've ever tasted. Without a doubt, this is the best BBQ in Illinois!

All the meats were mixed in together. I couldn’t even tell the difference from the pulled chicken or pulled pork. The size of the sides were ridiculous. For one I paid almost 4 bucks for a tiny cup that you’d put bbq sauce in ? That’s ridiculous. The fries which were also smashed on top of everything was burnt to a crisp. We live close by so I’m so disappointed. Almost thought we’d have a regular go to bbq place.

If you're so busy that you can't attend to your customers, perhaps it's time to consider expanding to a larger location or even opening another one. Customers shouldn't have to wait long for their food or struggle to get answers over the phone. I was kept on hold for over five minutes just to find out if they had burgers. I ended up hanging up because if no one is willing to answer my simple question, why should I spend my money there? Great food can't compensate for poor service.
