After moving to Wheaton, I was searching for a good Thai restaurant near downtown and was almost ready to give up until I found May Thai Cafe. I ordered the pad thai with chicken at a mild spice level. The portion size was very generous for the price, and everything tasted fresh. The mild spice level was just right for me, as I'm quite sensitive to spicy food—there was flavor without overwhelming heat. I'm excited to enjoy the leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

The staff is friendly, the wait times are impressively short, and the food is top-notch. It’s also very affordable, making it easy for a college student like me to satisfy my cravings. And believe me, I crave it quite often! I usually come once a month, but sometimes I visit even more frequently. Without a doubt, this is my favorite Pad Thai in the US.
