Perfect dinner for birthday get together with friends

The grill chef had to leave our station to get bowls of white rice, which were supposed to be delivered by servers. The meat continued to cook on the grill during his absence. Everyone’s steak was over cooked beyond their preference. Cocktails were watery. Beer arrived slowly and was warm. There was no “show” during the cooking. Chef did not seem skilled.

Upon arriving (a few minutes early)we were told we had to wait for another party to arrive as they were seating us together. We waited for over 15 minutes and they didn’t show. It’s unfortunate that this is the policy. Luckily we had time before our movie start time or we would have been late!! They were no where near full and I don’t even know why we needed a reservation. Once we were seated we waited 25 minutes for our food. Our waiter and chef were great but Disappointing overall.

Our chef was new and he was having a difficult time with the show . The food was not the best that we have had at Nakama. I know they can do and have always done better. I chock this one experience up to a mistake. I hope the chef makes it, cause he sure tried, but after setting the barbecue beside us on fire, he was a bit shaken up by the time he came to us. It was however, quite entertaining!

Had a wonderful meal. Food is exceptional and service was excellent
