Arrived as a small group of 3 to a pleasant welcome and quickly seated. Bruschetta and soup ordered for starters and all delicious. Fish n chips and peas kindly swapped for beans, roast beef and the lamb, again all delicious, 3 desserts order and again plates cleaned. There is a large menu with a very good variety of options and prices are what you’d expect to pay. On the whole delicious food with friendly and effici... View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Sean Og's:
This is the bar and and restaurant attached to the hotel in Kilmuckridge. Pleasant enough surroundings and very good prompt service. There were three of us. We had roast beef, chicken curry, and stuffed chicken. The beef and stuffed chicken came with mashed potato and mixed vegetables. The portions were generous but not overwhelming. The mashed potato was particularly nice. For dessert we had carrot cake and meringue... View all feedback.

While the overall meal was lovely I think it’s absolutely criminal that the chicken wing starter option is €8.90 for 5 chicken wings! Portion size is atrocious...

read moreSean Og's in the Upton Court Hotel offers a pleasant dining experience with prompt service and generous portion sizes. The roast beef, chicken curry, and stuffed chicken were tasty, especially accompanied by mashed potatoes and vegetables. Desserts like carrot cake and meringue were delicious. However, pricing for starters like chicken wings was seen as high. The restaurant also received negative feedback on food quality, with burnt dishes and raw turnips mentioned. Despite some minor complaints, overall, the food was exceptional, and the friendly staff enhanced the dining experience. With a large menu and reasonable prices, Sean Og's is recommended for a tasty meal with efficient service.
