One of the best sub sandwiches ever. My family and I stop here on our way to the Cape. The food is consistently great. The sub rolls are delicious and always fresh. We ordered the Original (ham and cheese) and chicken Parmesan. Both subs were delicious with ingredients that were fresh and superior. Amato’s is not a stand alone restaurant; it’s located inside a gas station. Don’t judge: it’s a hidden gem of a sub shop... View all feedback.
What Killinthegmebro Glaber doesn't like about Amato's:
Walked in there was five customers not wearing mask that’s not there fault but when you have the person behind the counter wearing no mask and using no gloves to make the food that is a big L in my book I walked right out View all feedback.

My wife and I travel 45 minutes each way just for their meatball subs which are THE BEST!! The best meatball subs we have EVER had!! The other day we were having that craving and for 45 minutes we talked about how awesome dinner was going to be. We got there all psyched at 6:00 ready to chow to find out the hours have changed and they were closed. First time I have ever almost cried over food haha. All their sandwiches are incredible but the meatball in our ho is the bestKudos to the people behind the counter.
Great sandwich! Classic Italian is my favorite. I love getting these in Maine. I'm glad there's one in Wareham now! :
