What Jared Scott likes about Maddens:
Came here vacationing, never been to Ireland before. The food and atmosphere were comforting, reasonably priced and the service was wonderful. Would definitely come back again just for the Margherita chicken, french martini, or even the sticky toffee pudding!! View all feedback. What J Hunter doesn't like about Maddens:
The food was good. I got salmon and it was a big portion and well cooked... the only flaw was the skin wasn't crispy at all. The loaded potato skins were more like a jacket potato but still, very tasty. I removed a couple of stars for the attitude of the staff. Patrons rave about comforting food, with highlights like well-cooked salmon and a standout Margherita chicken, though some dishes, like the breakfast, can fall short. Service experiences vary; while some guests enjoy friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, others encounter inattentiveness. Despite these inconsistencies, the warm environment, clean accommodations, and excellent bar offerings attract visitors back. Whether for a delicious chowder or a cocktail-making class, both establishments have their moments, making them worth a visit during your stay in Ireland.
