Much more than we were expecting.The food is a... read more We went to Gentile expecting a nice and inexpensive dinner. Unfortunately we ended paying over $200 for 3 people. Much more than we were expecting.The food is average at best. The Caesar salad was average with no bacon, minimal cheese and no offer of anchovies. My pasta plate would have satisfied a fashion model- small portion with only pasta and cheese. No life to it and it was not even al dente!! The tiramisu was average as it had too much coffee and not enough sugar.The service was good but did not make up for the food quality. Too bad.

Had to f... read more Arrived at 11:45 a.m. to avoid the rush. Food arrived immediately and was excellent. Service was courteous and friendly. Then it went south from there. Had to flag down the bus boy to order our coffees and biscotti which n ver arrived. 20 minutes later tried to flag someone down to get our bill. 20 Minutes later my frustrated hubby got up to pay and had to wait at the cash for about 10 minutes to pay. To add insult to injury, during our meal we were asked to move over to accommodate a group of 7. You'd think they'd offer us a free coffee or cookie for the interruption? Nada. As we were leaving I mentioned to the owner that we weren't pleased and he said he'd try to do something when we came back. Not so sure...
