Das Essen war wieder top.Das Ambiente ist hier echt klasse.Der Laden brechend voll...Ganz unamerikanisch, akzeptiert man hier keine Kreditkarte, keine Ahnung was den Inhaber umtreibt.Trotzdem, alles gut. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. View all feedback.
What Ollitank doesn't like about Road-stop:
he should come to the road stop on a Sunday night at the Schifffahrterdamm. The restaurant is relatively large about 100-150 places (pure estimate) and the kitchen must be the smallest of the world. View all feedback.
This is a hidden gem. eating is exceptional to meat. the personal is courteous and immediate. if they are on a diet, that is not the place.
Is it a roadtop? well, they have a lot of effort in the environment, 60ies themen, deco is not bad. but the burgers were lame. if the salate and the darjeeling.
It is not allways easy to eat with energetic children. our children are easy to please with horses and burger or nuggets, so this was the right place to go to the right @home. when we waited for our food, the children enjoyed themselves and. her friends we were two families, with 'tablefussball' €0.50/10balls. I choose the kentucky ranch burger, and it tasted very beautiful. my table covers also enjoyed their food, so overly very beautiful. iff they cool their drinks more I had a lukewarm radler who would be the 'ass on the cake'; I am not sure if the 'american' negative comment went into this restaurant, but we had a pleasant and tasteful lunch.
My daughter coveted after a few years in Germany American food. friends told her to try road stop. I think that's maybe a German 's stereotype idea, like an American restauraunt. our burgers had drowned and mais. we were as amazed as they fell out of our burgers, we literally tried them with a fork to see what they were. the pommes were excellent and very easily equal to what we had back to home. the fresh limonade seemed to be sprite with a quech of limette and lemon, and a tearing large faust of mint hanging up. that, German friends, is not limonade, and was not very tasty, although I would say I was super grateful for the ice in the cup. the milkshake was a great disappointment. She didn't even finish it, even though that was the one thing that brought us there. I tried it, and it had a really peculiar taste that we could not identify as if they had added circus juice or something. it wasn't good. another reviewer here in 2013 noticed a glass display case that seemed never cleaned. we have to sit next to the same case, and three years later it still looked like it had never been cleaned. as my daughter said, if she wants an American meal next time, she'll just go to mcdonalds. I think road stop is what the Germans imagine to be American eating: type of caricature version of real thing. If that had been better, we would have enjoyed ourselves, but the whole experience was disappointing. but it's okay. back in my home state there's a whole fake German city that would make every German visitor laugh. I'm sure they're so horrible with one of them, as I was with my hamburger from road stop. road stop has terrible decoration. our German city is filled with nutcracker shops and has a oompah band. so the world remains in balance! simply do not eat at both places.
You just have to go! very delicious American food and I know because I am an American. the bbq is great and the atmosphere too. I am am american and I visited this restaurant with my wife. we both really enjoyed eating, I think. best American grill we had in Germany! we plan another trip here, they also have a buffet that is really good.
