A quarter of an hour from Münster you drive from the city through a small piece of forest in Handorf and finally land in the country house Eggert. The in-house parking is well filled when I arrive. Immediately entering the house I have a good feeling, directly from the rain in this atmospherically illuminated reception room, right at the right the reception and left the passage to the fireplace room. Candles shine everywhere, the fireplace burns, on all tables artistic flower bouquets, the rain is forgotten. Operation The operation is well designed, you feel welcome as a guest. The Gadrobe is removed, a beautiful place assigned, with a view of the burning fireplace. Optionally, there can also be room in a more moderate room overlooking the garden, but today it should be the fireplace room. The small regional map offers wild dishes, different fish dishes, naturally also vegetarian variants and the sweet department. Not to forget the delicious cake I have enjoyed on the terrace more often in summer. Today I had Zanderfilet on Rahmsauerkraut with carrots and potato swamp, a small portion for 18 euros. The Zander fried, glazed inside, a dream. The carrots have a thin, artistically cut, harmonized wonderfully with the creamy herb, which had a slight wine note, which probably moved from the foamed sauce. The potato swamp with fresh herbs penetrates, an absolutely harmonious dish, which gave me a nice time with a Riesling and a water. The ambience of the Westphalian ambience with the fireplace room is cosy. The burning fireplace, the beautifully covered tables with the tasteful flowers, the candles, white tablecloths and white fabric napkins, you feel comfortable here. The terraces in summer, overlooking the garden and the fields. The Landhaus Eggert is rightly a romantic hotel and spoils its guests with all the senses. Cleanliness All top, even in the toilet. Here white disposable towels and art prints on the walls.

The first dish was soup the main meal. After the desert. Couldn't ask for more. Service was great.
