Last time I was here I ordered drunken noodles. I asked for a few extra veggies because I didn?t want meat or tofu. I received a small portion with hardly any veggies. Three years later I figured I?d give them another try. Called and person on the phonetold me a few extra veggies shouldn?t be a problem. I went in to order and was told I couldn?t substitute a few extra veggiesfor the protein. Disappointing so I left and went somewhere else.
Tucked away on the corner, this is a local neighborhood spot where people come and go for takeout while others, like us, take a seat at the checkered tablecloth tables. The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful. We shared some vegetable steameddumplings that were so fresh and authentic. The main route is to build your meal by choosing the noodles, the sauce, the proteinand heat level. We went more traditional with the Beef Pho and Tom Yum. Both extraterrestrially delicious.
Tiny little restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood. We sat outside and the service was phenomenal. The prices were reasonable and it will be an experience we will always remember. The flavors and freshness of everything went together so well.Small menu but a great selection. Well recommended to anyone. I want to thank our server he was beyond excellent.
Flavorless/inedible when the owner does not cook. We have been many times and have often said, this is the last time . Now, for sure, this was the last time. Paid $5 for extra meat and hardly would call it a normal sized portion. Was told, the owneris very strict with protein. Called and gave them the opportunity to make it right and they did not.
This might be the best Asian restaurant in New England, not to mention one of the best restaurants in Rhode Island. It’s a humble place and you get the sense that they do a lot of takeout business. At the same time, everything we had there was REALLY good, and made with clear delicious flavors and good quality ingredients. Highlights included the dumplings, grilled beef salad (nam tok), drunken noodles, pad thai, homemade Thai iced tea, and stick rice with fresh berries. It’s a place I’m excited about coming back to.
