Gorgeous setting, great food, and all the staff were friendly and courteous but, it was obvious they were overwhelmed that night! Service was on the slow side. We were sat outside on the patio with a lovely view of the water and overlooking the lower level patio and musician playing there. They do live music on Saturday evenings, which was enjoyable, if a bit loud. View all feedback.
What Katherine Escobar doesn't like about Dattilo Fine Italian:
We weren't seated at Datillos. We were seated at Seaview Bistro. It's extremely misleading since I made reservations for Datillos, but was told Datillos doesn't serve lunch. Why do you have availability for lunch on the OpenTable website/app? Can't you add Seaview Bistro to the OpenTable? I looked up the menu online before arriving only to be disappointed seeing an entirely different menu. View all feedback.
The Sunday brunch here was lovely and reasonably priced. Our large group enjoyed the usual brunch items: omelette station, waffles, fruit, pasta station, a variety of seafood, chicken, salads, and desserts. The prime rib was excellent but the star of the show is the amazing views of the Ling Island Sound and well maintained grounds. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive but we had a great time nonetheless!
There's a reason for low average review on Google maps for this place. Find someplace else to eat. The atmosphere is great but that's where good stuff ends. This place isn't worth the money you spend here. Food Charcuterie board had too much cheese and wasn't well balanced. Ravioli was too sour had to leave all of it on the plate. When we told server about it, he says, desserts will be nice and sweet. (Sad) The salad was good. Dessert was good. Irish cream coffee was bad. When you pay $150 for dinner for two, this is not acceptable food quality. The location is great but the food doesn't stand up to the mark.

I took my best friend to this restaurant for her birthday because she's an artist and absolutely loves water views. She was so grateful for the overall experience that she has been inspired to paint an ocean view similar to the view we had at our table. The service was exceptional, the food from appetizers, entrées to desserts were all delicious, and the staff were so pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you're out with friends, want a romantic dinner with your significant other, or celebrating an event, this is definitely the place to go. And if you're out of town, the hotel accommodations are equally as exceptional as our dining experience.
Beautiful setting overlooking the water. We had mussels for appetizer which were very small and just ok tasting. My seafood risotto was delicious but my husband did not like his tuna steak. It ended up costing $150 which for an average meal is a lot. We also had 2 glasses of wine.
