Definitely a hidden gem. We had wanted to try another nearby place for Sunday breakfast / brunch, but they had a long waiting time and I had pinched on the menu and the crepes sounded amazing. I was not disappointed that the Lobster Crepe should die. Loading with lobster, goat cheese and spinach and sauce I ate every bite. My husband got the woody omelet, which was horned cattle hate and cheese. The beef was excellen... View all feedback.
What Amanda Cenerizio doesn't like about Turtle Cafe, LLC:
Food was good! Service took a long time, but I understand they were busy... It was a Sunday morning.. We were just passing through the state and this place was recommended to go to. Got the lobster omelet and the hash burrito. The lobster was sooo good, but the hash burrito was really greasy. Kids got pancakes and bacon, they really liked the pancakes. View all feedback.
Talented chefs and the best drawn pig I've ever had! Great place and friendly staff! Amazing specials for a reasonable price. Hidden jewel on the coast! Ricky and Lukas are a talented duo, prepare for a meal and a show. Beautiful open line so you can see that your food is cooked right in front of you. Hard working people pump fresh, creative meals! It's just a thing! Turtle Cafe is an absolute institution!
The beef was excellent. We sat at the counter and chat a few regulars. It was like a breakfast and a show that knocks the cook and sous cook dishes with precision and lightness. They were a well-oiled machine and I'm glad to go back.
Thanks to the gigantic breakfast buffet at the resort where we stayed, we arrived today for breakfast on the recommendation of our dinner waiter (which is a local). Holy cow, what a place. It jumped! We pressed on the counter that was the best view to watch the cook, Lucas, work his magic. It was a cross between Top Chef and NASCAR. In this tiny room he curled everything: fluffy pancakes, the best domestic pommes I've ever eaten, fritattas, crêps and eggs of all kinds. I chose the lobster Benedict, done with huge pieces of fresh lobster meat with fresh spinach and with a perfectly fried egg, while Nabeby had the amazing hash eggs. Lucas made sure everyone felt welcome regularly. We will be absolutely back, even if it is out of the way, because it is THAT GOOD.
By far the best breakfast I've had in quite a while!! Coffee is strong, just the way I like it!! The environment feels vintage, like a true hometown dinner, but the staff and food are definitely far from that!! I can't forget to say, the staff waa great, and the chef was amazing. They all have great personality and are amazing to watch!! A must visit, and repeated return.
Wow ! Turtle Cafe is out of this world. Their breakfast in my opinion having lived 55 years on the shoreline is the best hands down. The Turtle Cafe is a must try ! Also to the owners give your gifted chef a raise.
