What Tom Allen likes about Bullwinkles Saloon & Restaurant:
We entered this spot thinking it would be upscale bar food at best. Once we got the menu we had a hard time ordering because of so many excellent options. I had the elk ravioli. This dish was very very good. It has sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, shallots and garlic with a brown gravy. I thought the gravy looked odd but was really good. I then had the huckleberry cheesecake and it to was good. Service was loud and fun.... View all feedback. What Wilford Hegmann doesn't like about Bullwinkles Saloon & Restaurant:
Food and service were good but the prices are way out of hand. We are a family of 4 and split two 17.99 sandwiches, got curd fries, soup of the day, and two Huckleberry lemonades and our bill was over $63.00. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit. View all feedback.

read moreBullwinkle's received mixed reviews recently. While some customers praised the delicious food, especially highlighting dishes like the elk ravioli and huckleberry cheesecake, others were disappointed by the high prices and slow service. One reviewer even mentioned encountering a rude waiter named Gabriel. Despite the varied experiences, the restaurant seems to have some standout menu items, such as the Park Ranger sandwich and walleye meal. Overall, while some customers felt their visit was worth it, others might find the prices too steep for what they get.
Gabriel was our waiter with a distance the worst waiter we ever had. After he had sat our broth basket on the table, he insulted us by saying, "book them back t...

This was the tenderest rib-eye I have ever had, even more than the tenderloin. Only butter and sour cream for the baked potatoes. Wait staff somewhat forgetful.
