My go-to Chinese restaurant has closed, so I decided to try this place because I was craving some good fried rice. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with what I received. It was just plain rice, microwaved meat that lacked flavor, and poorly chopped, overcooked vegetables that had no real seasoning. I should have read reviews before ordering, so that’s on me. I won’t be returning.

My partner has specific dietary requirements, and when he ordered his meal, he made sure to ask for certain ingredients to be excluded. Unfortunately, when the meal arrived, it contained the very items he requested to be left out. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand that mistakes can happen, but this kind of error is simply unacceptable. Food intolerances and allergies should always be taken very seriously. To make matters worse, the staff did nothing to address the situation — no refund, no replacement, nothing at all! It left my partner feeling like they didn't care at all.

I absolutely love they're sour chicken and fried rice. This company has it all I also love how clean the shop always is very professional staff. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Chinese food because it is the very best in Mackay.
