We stopped here for coffee and brekky. We were pleasantly surprised. It's hard to find good coffee like this even in a big city, but this little place excels!! Great food like avo smash, toasties and jaffles make this the perfect stop. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Prices very reasonable. 5 stars View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Woodman's Axe:
I asked for an Almond Latte and it was pitiful normally happens when over heating it. I wanted a wrap toasted but not microwaved, needless to say it was stone cold in the middle but was tasty. Can't say I'd be back in a hurry. View all feedback.

The best coffee in mackay with the brightest and most bubbly staff you will meet. Its always a delight visiting Woodmans Axe
So great to find a coffee shop in Mackay that fun, has great atmosphere and serves superb coffee.Felt like I was home in Sydney! I had the smashed avo for breakfast - it was great! Highly recommended.
Walking up to the coffee shop I felt I had found a winner plenty of locals around & nice atmosphere inside. I am only a visitor to Mackay so I am glad I've found somewhere that serves nice coffee. Thanks
