This cafe in Kempsey is owned by a homeless service for youth, to help youth gain skills and employment in the industry. What a great idea. Happy to wait a little longer than normal sometimes for burger. Great coffee! Food is good! Nice looking cafe! Best prices in Kempsey. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about That Place Cafe:
Stopped in for coffee for the first time under the new ownership. The coffee was OK, and served quite quickly, but the server could do with some improved skills in dealing with customers, as was not very welcoming. It would also be an improvement if there were some food options appropriate to go with coffee. View all feedback.
A work Hamburger ordered by an unfortunate worker. I know it was early, but surely a smile or a pleasant word would not be shy. Was not busy just another couple in place and since I didn't feel welcome, I went for a walk and visited a...few shops while Burger was cooked. Came back after 10 15 minutes and Hamburger was barely started. 10 minutes later and finally ready to hand me over from a beautiful young girl, the older employee should get some customer tips from her. Burger was nice, but due to the person who served me, I will not be back, many beautiful places in Kempsey to buy food and feel welcome.
This Playce always offers great coffee and food. The service is exceptional and the staff is very friendly and obliged.
