We had couple of lunches and couple of dinners here during our trip. They may be the only place to sit and eat on west side of the park. They have sit down place for food and ice cream place on the side of the restaurant. There is always a wait if you want to sit outside and enjoy some beautiful views of lake and mountains. Inside usually doesn?t have any wait time. Food is great. Their Thai wrap was the best among v... View all feedback.

At the cafe the food is only a step above fast food. Very limited menu.. Mostly burgers. Served in baskets with disposable cutlery. Prices are high which you would expect since it is one of the very few options in the park. My wife was excited to try the cobbler but terribly disappointed that it arrived more like soup and was bitter. She didn't even eat more than 2 bites. Service and cleanliness is below par. On the... READ BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN! The gift shop was great! We've been camping for 2 weeks and wanted to eat out instead of campsite cooking and the restaurant was awful! The food was terrible and very overpriced. We were so disappointed with our dinner and even more when the $60+ bill for two people came. Our waiter never came back until he delivered the bill. I had to flag down a different waiter for assistance. The bathroom was also filthy! Luckily we found a hidden gem just outside the park and you will not be disappointed! Glacier Highland restaurant is where you want to be. So this is me saving you and your money and helping you enjoy your food. So get back in your car drive outside the park and thank me later! Happy dining!
Beware purchasing an entry pass voucher and $30 credit for restaurant. The entry pass voucher is only good for the day it is purchased, you cannot choose a future date. This is NOT explained on the restaurants website! When I called to ask for a refund, they rudely refused. Service: 1
The food was delicious! Definitely get some onion rings they're so good. We also tried the Huckleberry pie with ice cream which we promptly devoured. We ate here twice, the first time we had a young man as our server who was great. However, the second time we had a young woman who hardly checked in on us, took forever to even get our order (and it was late afternoon so no lunch or dinner rush . I asked for a side of onion rings with my salad (I know, don't judge me. Lol they're just so good! and she instead gave and charged us for a basket. I've seen other reviews saying it was pricey, but it was on par with our expectations and thought it was a good value, especially inside the park. We were looking for a place that could accommodate our party of nine after a long hike when patience was short. The atmosphere was relaxing and we were all put at ease. The prices were good as was the food. We had no wait though we were worried as we had to wait everywhere else we went (especially parking). We were looking for a place that was locally owned as we did not want a contracted company to take the money and send out of the area they advertised heavily as locally and family owned which made the meal all the better. On the positive side we were seated quickly despite arriving at peak time and they haveoutdoor seating. The gift shop is nice and my kids liked that they have huckleberry candy sticks for just 75 cents each.
