If you're in the area, this restaurant is worth a visit. Locally recommended, we try this place if we like Mexican food. When we were from Texas, we were ready for a change of hamburgers and pizza. This place was not disappointed, and near Tex-Mex. Restaurant was clean, service was great, and food tasted very fresh. They were busy because there weren't too many Mexican places in the area. What Shawn Hayes doesn't like about La Casita Mexican Food:
This was not my best experience. Watch multiple wrong orders go out. People behind the counter not care but laff as if it was not there fault. As I sat there watching!! I ORDERED CHICKEN GOT PORK!! View all feedback.
We have selected this location based on the location (almost directly opposite our stay at the Great Northern Resort) and Google reviews. We were not disappointed! Prices are somewhat cheaper than what you find in Glacier, and the portions are generous. The Naked Bowl and Mole Oaxaca are great and the children loved the Chimichangas. After a long day of hiking in West Glacier, the meals here really satisfied our party. The hot salsa grabs a kick! Usually I like spicy/hot food, but this was hotter than what I used to be. No matter, we will repeat customers our next time through Glacier. UPDATE: We loved it so much we just came for a second night. It was more busy tonight, but they actually served us faster despite the crowd. Great food! Great prices! Great portions! Definitely stop. I can't wait to come back to Glacier and feed at La Casita.

Small square in a small town near the glacier West entrance of the glacier National Park. I never had Mexican food in Montana, but they claimed it was similar to Tex Mex. It is the kind of place where you go in your order take a number and they bring the food to your table. The food was not excellent, but remember that I am from San Diego where the Mexican food is the best. I would recommend if you were in the area as a place where you can get a quick bite and the prices are good.
We waited for a while for lack of personnel, but it seems everywhere has lack of personnel at the moment. The food was delicious once, but it was too much. We ordered two ultimate tacos and an ultimate Quesadilla. A taco was a lot because it was really enough for three. I'd eat there again.
Food portions were great. Drinks were served from bar across the way. No pitchers of margaritas. Single serve drinks only.
