I was looking forward to ordering the Cafe Gio pot roast, as my husband enjoyed it a few nights prior. When I arrived, it was not available however it was still listed on the menu. I wound up ordering the Veal Marsala and it was horrible. Tough meat and loaded with salt. The pasta side dish was no better. The red sauce tasted like it was from a can of cheap sauce. NEVER AGAIN !!!. View all feedback.
Went there the other night, Tuesday. Slow night, went for Pasta night. 6 people. 2 people had ordered 1 glass of wine each. Bill came, and without studying the bill, my mom paid $180.00 and change). One of the people in our party, left the waitress, Jill, $40.00 tip in cash. The next day when our was disclosed how much the bill was, we called, and then went in person to discuss the high bill. It turns out that not only were we overcharged for a glass of wine menu says 9.00, charged 12.00), the waitress added in a $28.00 tip, without informing us, so then she was tipped on top of her tip. The owner only refunded us $28.00. Needless to say, we will never be going back
I had the worst experience here ever! I dined in witb a friend of mine about an hour ago , as soon as we walked in the female worker behind the counter gave us strange looks and didn’t even greet us. As we went to sit down the waitress we were assigned to acted like she didn’t even want to sit us. Even after we realized the vibe was off we still stayed to eat because the food looked really good online. The whole time the waitress “served” us she seemed to have an attitude was rolling her eyes. The only friendly/ nice worker was the short lady with a cute diva/rockstar look. A man asked if we wanted bread we said yeah but he never brung it out but brung it out to everyone else that was around us. From the workers down to the customers everyone seemed to have a problem with us being the only African American ones there , the looks we received were outrages. Will definitely not be returning , if you are African American I advise you to go eat elsewhere!

We enjoy stopoing by Cafe Gio foe a slice or two. Their pizza is delicious and the service is good. Also have a pizza special!
The bake clams had soggy water down bread crumbs no taste. The fried zucchini was terrible all mush.Lobster Ravioli with scallops baby shrimp in a creamy pink sauce, the sauce was so watery, the shrimp was tough.I did not remember the scallops, the few ravioli itself was good. But the drippy sauce ruined the dish. The Scarpiello had ground up sausage meat my husband who never complains said never again to eat there. Our garlic knots, our coffee carrot cake were good.Service was excellent, its a shame food was not good.
