Not bad overall, but they use a lot of canned ingredients. I wish they would incorporate more fresh items, especially during the summer. However, it's not a bad place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nicky's:
The food was disappointing. I ordered mussels and scallops. There were only four scallops, and the mussels were swimming in a pool of grease. For $24.99, I expected much better. It felt like I was eating something unappetizing. View all feedback.
We've been regulars at Nicky's for many years. A few months back, we had a rather disappointing breakfast experience, but we thought we'd give them another chance. This time, the breakfast was quite good, but unfortunately, the coffee was worse than ever. It had a taste reminiscent of dishwater and was essentially undrinkable. What’s the point of a great breakfast without a decent cup of coffee? I likely won't be returning.
I enjoyed what I would call a hearty breakfast. I had a three-egg cheese omelette paired with corned beef hash, home fries with onions, and raisin toast. I ate this at 9:30 AM, and it's now 3:45 PM, and I'm still quite full. Both the food and service were excellent. I highly recommend dining here!
Always an enjoyable experience. I don't go often for seafood but their breakfast, lunch, and dinner are reliable and delicious.
We went today for the first time with our neighbors. They love this place. We also liked the lasagna and ice cream was awesome. Stuffed shrimp was also super. We are surely going there again just for icecream.
I ordered the Whole Clam dinner, which came with french fries, clams, and coleslaw. This was my first visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The coleslaw was drenched in vinegar, and the iced tea I ordered was the worst I've ever had. The clams were disappointing as well. My granddaughter had a simple bowl of pasta with butter and cheese and was charged $10. The clams were priced at $25 but were definitely not worth it, and the iced tea, at $3, was also not worth the money. The owner of Nicky's really needs to improve the quality of the food and the professionalism of the waitstaff.
