I've loved this place for years, but my recent visit was chaotic and concerning. The owner wasn't wearing a mask, and I noticed someone in the back packaging food was also unmasked. Additionally, two staff members handling food at the front had their masks slipping down beneath their noses. Only one employee was wearing a mask properly over their nose and mouth. To make matters worse, a customer walked in without a mask. I'm not sure what's happening here, but I won't be returning.
I've always loved the sandwiches here. The last time I visited, I ordered the BLT with avocado, but it was served as a roasted panini. I'll give it another shot, but consistency is really important. The baked goods have always been delicious, but no matter what I try, they seem to lack flavor. Overall, I really love this place; they just need to iron out a few issues.
