They had... read more We had a really lovely roast dinner here, loved the crispy roast potatoes and they had an excellent choice of beautiful vegetables all freshly cooked. They had a lovely Vegan Wellington for those that don't eat meat and they also gave me a separate jug of vegan gravy. I had the vegan chocolate brownies for dessert with vegan ice-cream , the brownies were lush, if I had one little dislike, it was the vegan ice-cream which was a bit tasteless, there are some really good ones on the market now which are much better. You also get the choice of a small/medium/ large carvery this dictates how many choices of meat that you would like. The prices for the carvery are excellent. All the staff were lovely, cheerful, helpful and friendly. I would advise to book as it's a very busy place. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

The food was top-notch, and the portions were quite generous. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely make it a priority to return.
