The only downside was that the tables were a bit close together. However, overall it was a very enjoyable meal that provided great value for money.

We booked in advance for 4 people but the table given to us was right in the bar area and it was very busy and so noisy we couldn’t communicate with our friends who had come a good distance, the whole purpose of our meal!! we booked for 12.00 on Friday, maybe not the best day. This had to be the worst table in the place.

They had... read more We had a really lovely roast dinner here, loved the crispy roast potatoes and they had an excellent choice of beautiful vegetables all freshly cooked. They had a lovely Vegan Wellington for those that don't eat meat and they also gave me a separate jug of vegan gravy. I had the vegan chocolate brownies for dessert with vegan ice-cream , the brownies were lush, if I had one little dislike, it was the vegan ice-cream which was a bit tasteless, there are some really good ones on the market now which are much better. You also get the choice of a small/medium/ large carvery this dictates how many choices of meat that you would like. The prices for the carvery are excellent.
