Description

Juniper offers a mixed dining experience that has drawn both praise and criticism. While some guests laud the wonderful ambiance, exceptional drinks, and standout dishes like Chicken Tagine and unique cocktails, others express disappointment with the quality of food and service. Complaints about bland appetizers, undercooked meals, and disorganized service marred the experience for many, alongside concerns about kid-friendliness and reservations. Despite the charm of outdoor seating and attentive servers in quieter moments, diners suggest that Juniper may need to improve food consistency and customer service to fully realize its potential as a dining destination.

Today is a rainy day and dinner is a hassle My husband cut his hair and went to Juniper !!But they don’t even give me water hing I know you're busy, but...I know it's a popular restaurant, but...Let's start...Still, everything was good except my younger daughter’s food (Lamb bolognese) !!Only my younger daughter's pasta didn't suit my taste. All the other foods were delicious, especially the Braised beef shortrib. It was really delicious

Great drinks and ambiance. Unfortunately only getting two stars for the cardinal sin of serving me under cooked short rib... It needed to braise at least another hour. Very bummed as the dish would have been great if the short rib was properly cooked.

My partner and I recently went with another couple to Juniper on a Saturday night. Since they don't take reservations, we arrived at 5:00 PM.We looked at the menu and were pleased with the options. We ordered drinks (Icarus Lane for me) and an appetizer (matbucha) and then settled into the delightful task of selecting an entree selection from a refreshingly unusual menu. Three of us ordered the chicken Schnitzel. All of us were glad we made that choice. The portions were so large that two of the party took some home.We asked our server about dessert options, and she suggested the date cake dessert. It was certainly large enough for two people. My partner nibbled at it which left lots for me.It was one of the most unique desserts I've ever had. At the end of the evening by this time the restaurant was packed I asked David if he had a minute. He stopped amid the bustle and hustle, and I told him that I'd love to go to a restaurant when I eat a delicious meal that I have no idea how I would begin to prepare at home. When we left, the dining room and bar were full; we never felt pushed to leave although in hindsight I’m sure people were waiting for the table.I would really recommend if it's in your driving radius to check the place out. I know I'm looking forward to going back again.
