I was always of the opinion that Sushi does not come better than in Vancouver and other West Coast cities. But this place, in the East German town of Weimar, was a total surprise and a far cry from the poisonous rubbish that pretends to...be Japanese food in Eastern Europe (think Ukraine). Every bit as good as my Vancouver experience, the food was immaculately prepared and presented, and service was easy going along... View all feedback.
What Lucie Hagen doesn't like about Sushibar:
Das Sushi ist geschmacklich einwandfrei und preiswert. Was mich stört ist das Ambiente. Es wirkt recht kahl und lieblos, als wolle man mit möglichst wenig Investition möglichst viel Profit machen. Sowas muss nicht sein, zumal das Essen an sich köstlich schmeckt. Nehmen Sie das Sushi lieber zum Mitnehmen und erfreuen sich dessen Geschmack in schönerer Umgebung. View all feedback.
Weimar has not many options when it comes to sushi, but that is the best definitiw. They have the usual choice, fish is always fresh. her cocosnus bael dessert is delicious
It is one of the places that they can try a good sushi in weimar if they get bored by typical and local German foods, I recommend them to try it
Great place! fantastic sushi and sashimi, very good price and very relaxing atmosphere! try to see it!
They can eat very well healthy sushi and also find some Korean foods. very cozy restaurant. there is a reasonable lunch menu.
We went to this restaurant on a recommendation, we only tried the lunch menu. We thought the place lacked ambience but, this could have been because we were there at the end of the lunch period. The lunch we chose was one of the bento...boxes, we were a party of 8 and although we chose different no's , we were all served the same miso soup and we had to look closely to see the difference between boxes. Still the sushi, was fresh and well presented, I would try this place again and hope for a livelier atmosphere,
