However, when I visited recently for the hot table, the staff didn't acknowledge the line of customers waiting, which included about eight others in front of me. The staff seemed disorganized—one lady was taking orders while also preparing food for dine-in customers. They might have been short-staffed. The food was just okay (I had the Palabok). I noticed someone from the kitchen pacing in the back and wandering in and out without offering any help to the lady at the front.

While it may have lacked complexity, it was still enjoyable if you appreciate the combination of soy sauce and squid with a hint of acidity. The other dish was a beef stew with tomato sauce and vegetables—I can't recall its name, but the flavors blended nicely, and the beef was tender. I would definitely order that again if given the chance! For dessert, I opted for the Halo Halo and would rate it 4/5.
