What Lagabaggy doesn't like about The Black Lion Inn:
I dislike it when a pub welcomes dogs and serves food. It's not hygienic. The food was poor, all from frozen. Luckily we live far away and dont have to go back. Even when visiting there are plenty of better places to eat View all feedback. What FrankieG18 likes about The Black Lion Inn:
We enjoyed a couple of cold ciders here yesterday. Sat outdoors under a brolly, watching the late afternoon traffic whizz around the roundabout. What an interesting activity I tell you! Lovely welcoming proprietor Emma is a friendly one. Ladies loo is clean and tidy. There are quite a few car park spacers beside the pub. Look forward to our return visit. Thanks Emma. read moreDespite some negative feedback regarding previous experiences, the restaurant offers friendly service and a hidden gem for those seeking a decent evening meal. The food is cooked perfectly and in good proportions, with well-kept beer. The quaint surroundings add to the appeal of the place. Although some concerns were raised about pricing and breakfast quality, the overall experience was pleasant. The traditional English pub-style and comfortable venue make it a great spot for a Sunday roast. With friendly staff and a dog-friendly environment, this pub offers great value for money, especially for events such as the Firle Vintage Fair in Lewes.
