The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering impeccable service. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with a roaring log fire and dog-friendly policy. Customers praised the delicious home-cooked food, especially the fish pie and burger. Overall, the staff's attentiveness, large portions, and tasty dishes made for a wonderful dining experience, perfect for families, walkers, and anyone looking for a welcoming pub with excellent food.
I'm sitting here in the beer garden, enjoying the late summer sun, having just demolished a wonderful cheese & coleslaw baguette.
For lunch. beautiful, fast service and a table in the bar. vegan nussbraten was delicious. vegan burger less, apart from the beautiful chips. they served beyond burgers who are amazing.
. .. but a scandal that the staff apparently didn't interfere today
Friendly staff. dog-friendly. nice menu. options for gluten-free and vegetarian nutrition. nice hot, delicious coffee. the food was delicious and would certainly recommend it.
Friendly, helpful staff, a menu that is a refreshing change from the run of the mill menu that are offered in the rule in pubs all at affordable trips, dog friendly and finally very important to me, the loo’s were immaculate. we will definitely visit this pub again if we are next in sussex
