I placed... read more I spent $30 on a salad, fries, and a sandwich, and I expect to get what I pay for, especially since I visit this place frequently and know the prices. I placed my order and went outside with my toddler. When I returned, I noticed the cook eating a fry—odd, but I was just hungry. They assumed I was dining in and had my order on a tray. I politely asked for it to go instead, which they did. Usually, I order my salad the same way every time: to-go with the dressing on the side. I’ve never had an issue until today. When the salad was bagged, they tossed it together with the other food, instead of keeping the dressing separate. After waiting 20 minutes for my order, I got in the car and found the fries were cold. I typically save my salad for later, but when I got home, I noticed the dressing was mixed in, which means it will be soggy by the time I eat it tomorrow. Frustrated, I called the store to explain the situation and politely asked if I could come in tomorrow for a replacement salad. Instead of understanding, the so-called "manager" became defensive and insisted that they always put the dressing on the salad for to-go orders. He was rude and never attempted to resolve the issue! I didn’t even ask for a refund, just a replacement. To my dismay, he yelled at me, saying I was wrong for wanting my food prepared in a way I specifically requested and paid for. The salad alone cost $13, and now I feel like I’ve wasted my money, time, and food. As a vegan, finding good options is already challenging, and I won't be returning here! I don't usually write reviews, but this kind of treatment is unacceptable!

I placed my order and stepped outside with my toddler. When I returned, I noticed a staff member in the kitchen eating a fry—kind of strange, but I was hungry. They assumed I would be dining in and served my order on a tray, but I politely requested it to-go. Normally, I order just a salad, but this time I ordered a sandwich and fries as well. I always get my salad the same way, to-go with the dressing on the side, with no issues—until today. When the staff member bagged my order, he tossed the salad into the bag with the other items without keeping the dressing separate. After waiting 20 minutes for my food (and being the only customer there), I got to my car and started on the fries, which were cold! I usually let my salad sit out and enjoy it later, so I didn’t check it right away. When I got home, I found the dressing mixed in with the salad. Since I planned to eat it the next day, I was frustrated knowing it would be soggy. I called the restaurant to explain the situation politely and asked if I could come in the next day for a replacement salad. Instead, I received immediate attitude from the so-called manager. He insisted that they put dressing on the salad for to-go orders, even though I order from there a couple of times a week! He was completely rude, dishonest, and showed no interest in resolving the issue. I didn’t even ask for a refund, just a replacement. Instead, he yelled at me for my preference regarding how I like my food prepared, claiming he doesn’t know who I am because he had seen "10 black girls today." The salad alone cost $13, and now I feel like I wasted my money and time. As a vegan, it’s already challenging to find good plant-based food, but I will not be returning here! I don’t typically leave reviews, but this is not how you treat customers.

The vegan milkshakes were also enjoyable and didn’t have that milky aftertaste that some other milkshakes do. The restaurant was clean and well-lit, and the staff were friendly.
