Easter dinner was not a prix fixe but an off the menu night. This was our second visit within 5 months, after not visiting for a few years. That was our loss as this dinner and the previous one were excellent. Food was really nicely done— we had Caesar salad, octopus small plate, trout and veal. Wine and drink choices were good but not inexpensive. Bread was not exceptional nor was our dessert, but each were good. A... View all feedback.
What Mayra Steuber dislikes about Paramour:
The service was terribly slow. It took a long time for the server to ask for our drink, meal, desert order-once she did the drinks/food came out at an appropriate amount of time. Except the desert, it took a very long time for desert to come out, so long we ended up canceling our order. We probably won’t go back, there are plenty of places in the area with the same quality of food but much better service. View all feedback.

We love Paramour for the ambience, food, and drinks. Although some of the drinks are a bit pricey. Lobster roll and fries are delicious. Octopus is my favorite!
It has all changed since the new year. It used to be a great hang out with friends and family, now the bar is not even close to being great. They don't pay any attention to the customers, they do not even ask if you would like to have something to eat ordrink. They leave you hanging for 30 minutes, until you ask for a menu. We are very disappointed with the changes they have madefor this great place and how it used to be before. They also took away the best food from the menu.
I was expecting better based on the reviews I read. Service was 3 1/2, they messed up a few drink orders and one entree had to be sent back. The staff did go out of their way to correct the issues. I wasn't sure what their best dish was so I told thewaiter to bring me what he thought was good. I got a steak cooked medium which was how I like them and it was just ok. Portionswere average size. I had an old fashioned which I thought was pretty good, some places have a tough time making them correctly. The dessert menu didn't impress me so I passed, and opted for another old fashioned. The decode in the restaurant I would rate a4 to 4 1/2. I would say the style was upscale contemporary.
The food was terrible, tasted like it had been frozen. Ordered my steak fries medium rare, came out way past well done, and was somehow covered in a layer of grease but still insanely dry. It was also oddly cold, the butter pad that came on it wasn'tmelting at all. My girlfriends rainbow trout had pieces of paper in it, the green beans were absolutely horrid and the potatoeswere undercooked. The meatball appetizer tasted as though the sauce came from a can, and that the meatballs were microwaved. Thestaff was at least friendly though but that cannot detract from the fact we paid 92 dollars for what was most likely frozenfood. Really really disappointed. Stay away.

I would have recommended this restaurant, but unfortunately they have permanently closed their doors as of 7/22/19.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit while up on the mainline. I hope that the new restaurant they are planning to open in its place is as good as this one.
I was disappointed to find out that Paramour is closed! My family and I have been loyal customers for years and have celebrated many special occasions there. Special thanks to the amazing waiter who always made our visits delightful. The food, service, and atmosphere were always top-notch. Best wishes to the staff at Paramour!
