Reviews summary
This restaurant offers amazing food, with dishes like Rasberry Point oysters and wood-grilled bone-in rib eye receiving high praise. Despite a slightly high price point, the attentive service and delicious meals make it a top choice for diners. The ambiance, however, is often marred by loud and inconsiderate patrons, leading to a less than ideal dining atmosphere. The staff's lack of intervention and the noise levels in the back room could detract from the overall experience. In spite of these issues, the extensive drink options, tasty menu choices, and exceptional service make a return visit likely for many customers.

Wonderful little place with delicious, creative food and great service. The Boudin Blanc was amazing!
We ordered the lobster bake (to go/C-Virus times) for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was fantastic. Everything from cornerstone is special and delicious. And- they secretly tucked a birthday candle in our dessert- their special bourbon balls. You’re our “go to place” Cornerstone!
We've been a couple times and the food has always been spot on. The first time we stopped by was just before closing. Most places turned us away, we knew our chances were low to catch an open kitchen but they accommodated us. The menu matches theseasons and the beer/wine/cocktail menu does as well. The wine selection offers more than your standards and excites you to trynew vines. Our first visit we stuck with apps, the muscles and fries are fantastic. Second time around we enjoy fresh oystersfrom MA, I had one of the best pork chops of my life, and my wife enjoyed the crab cakes. Being that our first visit wascutting it close to quitting time it was awesome to see that their menu allows you to buy a round for the kitchen staff, wehighly recommend it.
We were blown away by the food. Great presentation and incredibly flavorful. And the service was exceptional. Awesome beer selection and server was helpful in picking one that each of us liked. Oysters were perfect. Mussels in Marseille sauce weresome of the most delicious we 've had, and the fries were great too. Persimmon salad (a special) was beautifully plated, andsuch a well-conceived combination of ingredients, every bite was a delight. We were already so pleased, clearly, and then thepork chop nearly killed us (with joy). We both had tasted some great pork chops in the past, and this was up there with thebest. Incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor, paired perfectly with the pureed beets and side of broccoli rabe and sweetpotato. Everything together made this a truly memorable meal. Lastly, I love that they have a menu item to treat (tip) thekitchen staff!
What a pleasant culinary surprise. Small place, attentive service, feels a bit like a Paris–Tel Aviv European blend with friendly American service. So, the best of all worlds. It’s like going on vacation. Wine list is well curated, the foodprepared literally in front of you (if you sit at the bar). A good choice for lunch, dinner or simply a drink.

An absolute must if you appreciate fresh food, delicious wine and attention to detail.
Food wasn't very good at Cornerstone Bistro. The seafood appetizer didn't taste like it was very fresh. The entrees were meh. The chairs in the middle room at the square tables were were low and not very comfortable. Everyone at the bar and chef's table looked squeezed in like sardines because the seats were pushed too tightly together. The owner was snappy and overbearing. The staff did not give off a good vibe. The server stroked his facial hair at the table repeatedly. The atmosphere was dismal at Cornerstone Bistro. The market had a bunch of over priced items that you can find at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. There are many better restaurants in the area in this price range.
Come for bartender Mike, stay for the excellent food made with premium ingredients. Not to mention oyster hour friday and saturday sourced only from PEI and new

One of the finest dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. Despite our years, we've enjoyed many meals out. The Raspberry Point oysters were expertly prepared, and we also loved the grilled Caesar salad. The bone-in rib eye was bursting with amazing flavors from the wood grilling. The service was both attentive and friendly. While the prices are on the higher side, we will definitely be coming back.
The food at Cornerstone is fantastic. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a loud group of eight nearby who were quite inconsiderate. The staff did not intervene about the noise. The volume in the back room where the tables are situated is excessively high. Although the manager/owner noted that they have tried some soundproofing measures, there is still more work to be done. The environment does not support the ambiance they are striving for.

We dine at Cornerstone several times a month. The service is outstanding, the food is wonderful, cocktails and wine list is amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing. Christine visits most if not all her guests to chat a bit, catch up and make sure all is good. We highly recommend Cornerstone for your special event or your night out. Cornerstone is, by far, the most impeccable restaurant on the Main Line. From the food, the service, the ambiance and the warmth, it is one of the few that is on par with Center City dining. We always feel so fortunate when we can get a reservation. Definitely an incredible evening all around. A treat. Dietary restrictions: They’re always so accommodating to my dairy free restriction. We've had a busy week here in Wayne, PA! After a few intense days of showing Main Line homes, we've successfully secured the ideal home for our buyer clients from sunny California! Celebrations were in order as Brett Furman Group made a whopping $2.2 million in sales this week so we decided to pop open a bottle of champagne at Cornerstone Bistro! Who says summers in real estate have to be slow? We're proving that theory wrong, one successful deal at a time. #RealEstateGoals #SayYesToTheAddress #GreatFood Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is, in my opinion, the best restaurant on the Main Line. We come here often and always have a great time. Christine, Nick, and Mark are top shelf. They each excel in their own areas. The food, the cocktails, and the wine list are all outstanding. All I can say is amazing. Love the food and the staff. I wish I could keep this place a secret but I want it to do well
A very special restaurant. The food was great. Very good service. Nice concept. Pricey, but the experience was worth it. Of course, the person I was fed with made it even more special. Have a nice day outside.
AMAZING. Have been wanting to go here since they opened. Why did we wait so long. Love the feeling. The casual atmosphere. The interaction with Nick and his sous chef (I did not get his name, he was part of the fun, too and oh how he presented the perfect oysters) , the hostess. All so lovely to chat with. We had the house made italian sausage with fennel perfection. And the swordfish skewers melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked layered with the quinoa and the greek yogurt. I forgot to say we started with the mussels marseilles. Heaven. We were there early enough that we just slurped the juice right up out of the bowl with no one to care! Thank you for making our 20th anniversary dinner out memorable! So glad to have you in Wayne!
Cornerstone is fabulous! The food was a 10+ and the presentation was spot on. We love seating concept and ran into friends we know and made new ones tonight. We will be back soon for sure:
