This place is my saviour! In a town that has zero vegan options around this little piece of heaven was a god send. Delicious açai with amazing inventive toppings and fresh fruit lollies yummmm

Love this place, but must put the word out there that they are not open all year round. This is a seasonal place, so if you travel in the OBX in autumn/winter/early spring, this is not an open place. What is a real bummer, given the lack of clean food generally on OBX.

A very sweet and comfortable little place! Honestly, a Godsend in the area and has amazing food! Sad, I discovered the store at the end of my stay and could only sample a few options, but they were delicious! Would go back there! Updated by previous review on 2020-07-17

I was so glad to find this place on holiday to the Outer Banks. It is quite impossible to find good vegan food here, so Hatteras Bowls was practically a vegan oasis. The fact that this place has healthy vegan options is great, but the fact that the options are DELICIOUS is even better. I came here every morning from my trip and got an Acai dish and/or a smoothie. The only thing is that it mixes honey into her prefabricated granola, so if you order an Acai dish, make sure not to ask any granola. Both shells I tried were crazy and they offer natural or regular peanut butter and vegan chocolate chips as toppings. They also sell environmentally friendly coconuts and reusable straws!
