Waterville really lacks quality when it comes to a nightlife.

As soon as we walked in, it was clear we had found a local gem... read more I'm so glad my friends and I discovered this place before an event at the Waterville Opera House. As soon as we walked in, it was clear we had found a local gem with a fantastic atmosphere. During our meal, four strangers stopped by to chat with us, all because my husband was wearing a Harley shirt. Gabby, our server, was exceptional! Even though it was a busy night, she let us know that our food might take a little while and remained friendly and engaging despite the chaos around her. To make the night even better, we enjoyed a performance by The Lone Grangers Band. When I requested a Grateful Dead song that they didn't know, a band member came over during their break and said, "Give us a month or two, and we'll learn it. Just make sure you come back!" You can't get this kind of experience anywhere but in Maine! I can't wait for our next visit. I just wish we lived closer so we could make this our regular spot!

The music was a bit on the loud side, but I suppose that's just a sign of us getting older! Overall, it was a fun experience, and we'd definitely return. The drinks were fantastic, so be sure to try the Shark Bite!
