It was quite disappointin... read more I used to visit this café regularly, but I eventually stopped going due to the owner's constant belittling and insulting of her staff. It was quite disappointing to see. She also tends to yell at customers who bring in items from other cafés, even if it's just an empty cup. The employee turnover rate is extremely high, and there's always a "Help Wanted" sign in the window, which speaks volumes about the place!

Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I cannot recommend this place.

Some musicians even... read more The main attraction of Waterloo's Jazz Room is undoubtedly the jazz. I've been there several times and consistently left feeling satisfied. Some musicians even claim it's the best jazz venue in Toronto, which is only an hour's drive away! The sound quality is exceptional, and there are video screens available as well. The ambiance is delightful, with exposed brick walls that enhance the overall vibe. Guests show great respect for the artists by keeping conversations to a minimum during performances. Additionally, the Huether Hotel serves some excellent beer, and the food is quite tasty too.
