Description

The Daily Grill offers a mixed dining experience, with some patrons being disappointed by the quality of the food, particularly the schnitzel. Other customers praise the friendly service and fast seating. The breakfast menu seems to be more popular, with eggs Benedict receiving mixed reviews. The atmosphere is described as calm and functional. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for a decent meal with no surprises, especially for breakfast. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and sitting in a booth is fantastic! I'd choose a booth over a chair any day.

I have been working in the Waterloo area 3-4 nights a week and have driven by this restaurant many times without stopping. Now I regret not coming sooner! The owner is incredibly hardworking and one of the nicest people we've ever met. Even when he's not there, the staff are just as friendly and efficient. The food is outstanding, and we try something new every time we visit. Whether we come as a couple or with our whole family, the service is always friendly, helpful, and quick. I am always impressed by how quickly the food is served. This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite spots to dine out when we need a break from cooking at home.

Decent food, good service, interior is well kept and clean. The fries are especially yummy. The hollandaise sauce could have been better. In general, a very good brunch restaurant.
