Mixed opinions on the Crazy Canuck, with some customers praising the delicious food and great service, while others were left disappointed by errors in their orders, slow service, and a dirty atmosphere. While some enjoyed the huge portions and friendly staff, others found the food tasteless and overpriced. Despite varying experiences, many reviewers mentioned the large portion sizes and tasty boneless dry ribs. The restaurant's cleanliness and timeliness of service were points of contention, with some mentioning the lack of cleanliness and long wait times for takeout orders. Ultimately, the Crazy Canuck seems to have a loyal following for its flavorful food and friendly service.

What Mehran M dislikes about The Crazy Canuck:
Portions are HUGE! Get way less than what you eat. Good variety of routines, but I did not like the taste. It's way less tasty than Quebec ones. I also got dry ribs which I didn't like at all. Overall, unhealthy huge tasteless food : View all feedback.
The four of us were out for a walk and just stopped by for a drink! Staff were amazing recommending places to visit!

It was very delicious and the help was very friendly. I would definitely come here again one order was big enough for both my husband and I. A real treat. It came with ribs.
This restaurant is located in a corner next to an antique store near Jacobsen market. There are only a few indoor dining tables, but they have a spacious patio that is pet friendly. It is self-service at the counter where they provide a buzzer to alert you when your food is ready. The poutine was outstanding with cheesy, creamy sauce and fresh cut potato fries. The Halifax garlic fingers had a delicious smell and taste. We also enjoyed their own beer, The Crazy Canuck, which was quite good. We would definitely return to this place and are happy to have discovered it.
My son noticed that this restaurant had good reviews and we are always open to trying new places. So we decided to take a chance, and we were not disappointed. The food did take a bit of time to be prepared, but it was a Sunday at 2:30 and there wasn't much traffic in the area. However, the food was very delicious. The pizza had generous toppings and a crispy crust. The boneless dry ribs were tossed in their Canuck sauce which added to the great flavor. The fries were cooked perfectly. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
