Highly recommend the borscht. Cherry pierogies are also a favourite. I buy in bulk, frozen, and take them home with me, but I have eaten in before and it's just as tasty. Cafe itself is a little quiet and a tad run down which doesn't make it feel very cozy for staying and enjoying a meal, but the lady who owns it is lovely.Vegetarian options: Some options, but most have meat or are cooked in animal fats/brothsKid-friendliness: No kids menu, but the food is great.Wheelchair accessibility: There is one step to get into the cafe and the tables are too close together for most wheelchairs to comfortably navigate. Bathrooms are not disability friendly.

This restaurant is wonderful, with delicious food. We bought some soups to take home for our daughter, and she devoured them. She really enjoys their food! Everything is homemade and you can taste the love put into it. I highly recommend this place.

Went for a breakfast date with my wife and chose Teremok Cafe. Galina is a super host a very soft spoken person. Loved the ambience of this place...was quite cozy. Ordered Borsch (soup), Perogi and crepe. Borsch was a standout (its made by Galina family everyday). Have tried Perogi at multiple places, but it was best here (again made by Galina family). Thank you Galina for hosting us. Definitely recommend to others.
