Chef On Call
Description
This restaurant has garnered both praise and criticism from its patrons. While some rave about the extraordinary flavors and quality of dishes like the spicy chicken crunch burger and the “best burger ever,” others express discontent over rising prices and dwindling portion sizes. Customer service stands out, with many highlighting accommodating hosts and flawless order execution. The venue appeals particularly to late-night crowds and offers a diverse menu, though vegetarian options remain limited. Overall, diners appreciate the delicious food but call for better value to match their expectations. A hearty recommendation, but with some caveats!.

I tried the spicy chicken crunch burger and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious. I almost gave it 4 stars, but the $20 price for a burger and a can of coke is a bit steep. However, the quality of the sandwich ultimately earned it 5 stars in my book.
As the top-ranked user on their app (Chef), I can no longer support this restaurant. I am sorry to say that the prices do not match the quality and portion sizes offered here when compared to other places. Although they make mistakes frequently, they are usually good about rectifying them or providing a credit. However, I cannot justify paying $25 before tip for a burger combo with a measly handful of fries. Three years ago, this restaurant was a great alternative to Uber Eats or Skip, but the quality has declined and prices have increased since then. It seems that this place is targeting university students to take advantage of their limited funds. I will be looking for another restaurant to try.
This restaurant serves the best burger I have ever had in my life. Unfortunately, for vegetarian options there are limited choices available, mainly just Beyond Meat which I personally dislike (they use a soy-based patty which tastes much better). I tried their power burger and it satisfied all the cravings I had for a burger since coming to Canada. Every bite felt like heaven and the burger was quite large. The only downside was that it was very expensive, costing $16 for just one burger. I have never seen such high prices for food outside of a 5-star restaurant.
Amazing food tried the pasta. Penne rouge it was a bit bitter. But their fries and shake was good. I ordered burger after cause of the okaish pasta they gave it for free so amazing customer service.
Ordered delivery for lunch from their website. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the Philly cheesesteak. Both were delicious, I made changes/substitutions to my sandwich and they were executed flawlessly (no mistakes, nothing forgotten . The food was packaged carefully and maintained its integrity. I love that the buns are soft but sturdy enough to support the ingredients. Delivery was swift and followed instructions. Highly recommend— don’t be afraid of ordering delivery :
