You won’t get food this good, with all fresh ingredients anywhere around. Great food, great people, great atmosphere! Recently had the Detroit style as a weekend special. It was so good! Thick, chewy crust and crunchy, cheesy edges. Apparently it is going to be on the new menu rollout soon and I am stoked! If you’re not a fan of Neapolitan style pizza, check out their new Detroit style. So good!

The location might scare some patrons away but they probably prefer Pizza Hut or Little Caesar?s to grace their Iowa Corn Fed pallets. Basil hasn?t changed much over the yearswhich is both good and bad. Some menu favorites have disappeared. The beer selection is ok but lacks creativity. Theirsourdough pizza creations remain delicious and now includes their take on Detroit style which I?ll have to try again but it waspretty good the first time. If you find yourself in downtown Loo? Basil Pizza is worth a stop. Enjoy!
