Feedback
The Airedale restaurant in DC offers a mix of experiences, as highlighted by various reviews. While some diners have praised the food quality, especially dishes like best friend pickles and arancini, others have criticized the slow service and lack of attention from staff. The bar scene can get crowded, which may be a pro or a con depending on individual preferences. Overall, Thea has received positive feedback for its exceptional service and fresh ingredients in dishes like seafood pasta and veal Milanese. The restaurant is known for its cozy ambiance and is a BYOB establishment, making it a popular choice for many diners. While some have had issues with service delays and seating availability, others have thoroughly enjoyed their meals and plan to return for the tasty food options and inviting atmosphere.
The staff at Airedale couldn’t have been more accommodating. Ours was a large group with a few cancellations and a couple of toddlers, and the staff was laid back and incredibly helpful. Would absolutely go back.
I made a brunch reservation only to be told at the door that The Airedale doesn’t accept reservations on Game Day. This wasn’t indicated anywhere on Open Table and the bartender was a bit confused/rude when we tried to ask clarification. Ended up scrambling to find a new place for our large group without notice during a holiday weekend.
If you haven't tried the catfish and shrimp at this restaurant, you're really missing out. The food is excellent!!! Thank you Artemis.
