Feedback
Overall, the reviews for this Italian restaurant were mixed. While some customers raved about the delicious food and excellent service, others were disappointed by long wait times, mix-ups with their orders, and the small portion sizes. Some diners were impressed by the homemade pasta dishes and friendly staff, while others found the desserts to be lacking. The atmosphere was described as cozy and welcoming, with a few minor complaints about noise levels and dim lighting. Despite the varied opinions, many reviewers still recommended the restaurant for its tasty dishes and reasonable prices.
I almost passed this place up because, as another reviewer stated, it was so unpretentious in it's external appearance.
Party of 3, sunday night, 730pm small place, street parking, but we took a cab from our hotel.
The waiter was friendly and professional, but had too many tables. The food was salty and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. He used to enjoy this place, but will probably not be back now.
A hidden gem that deserves to be experienced by everyone. This Italian restaurant may be small in size, however the food is amazing. Some local DC friends picked this restaurant to meet us out for dinner tonight, and we are so glad they did. Westarted out with the Beef Carpaccio, Buffalo mozzarella, arugula, pesto, and spicy micro greens appetizer. It is a light weightappetizer that packs a punch of flavor. For the main course my wife had the Saffron Taglierini with scallops. She says it wasas delicious as it sounds. I ordered the Lamb Shank Ossobucco style with spinach mash potatoes. The lamb was cooked perfectlyand the dish as a whole was fantastic as well as more than I could eat in one setting, so I will be enjoying the leftovers foranother meal. To top everything off, we had their tiramisu for dessert. It was very good. Next time though I think we?ll trythe cheesecake.
Host didn?t know where to seat us. Then seated us and then asked us to move. I ordered the crab, they served me lamb. They offered a lettuce leaf to make up for it. Really underwhelmed. The food needs seasoned, from the bread to the pasta. The bestthing I had was the wine? which they bought. There was also broken glass on the floor that no one attended to the entire timewe were there.
