TGI FRIDAYS - Washington (DC)

The hostess was rude, informing customers of a 30-minute wait even though the restaurant was nearly empty. After questioning the wait, my group and several others were finally seated. The bartender revealed that the wait staff was lazy and often turned people away and lied about wait times to avoid serving customers. We probably should have left at that point, but we were hungry and unfamiliar with the area. It's hard to understand how this place stays in business.

The service was horrible, slow, and with little desire to be friendly. The restaurant was half empty. The coleslaw salad... the worst of my life, the potato boats completely dry. It's nothing like the restaurant in Madrid.

We had a fantastic waitress who got our order correct and had a great personality. The ribs I ordered were very meaty and delicious. I will definitely be returning to enjoy more ribs!

Very tasty food. Excellent presentation. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Neat neighborhood scene. Highly recommended. The place has potential.

This was our first time at Thea but it won't be our last! Everything from the food to the service was first class. The decor is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Love that it is a BYOB. The arugula beet salad was amazing and our entrees were equally impressive.
